7 Wonderful Teacher Bags To Stay Organized

When it comes to teaching, I am often bringing this back and forth from home – even when I don’t grade at home. Between my lunch, wallet, water bottle, coffee, papers for trainings, and laptop if I need it for a different training that evening, there’s a lot that I bring back and forth. Plus when I was pumping, I was easily bringing 3 bags into the building every morning – PHEW.

This year, I’ve been wanting to find a better teacher bag to carry everything and make bringing my stuff with me easier. Between National Boards, a student teacher, Ethnic Studies training, AND teaching Advanced Placement, this year is going to be hectic enough. So why not keep everything together! So through my research, I’ve found 7 teacher bags that will meet my needs (and other teachers’ needs as well!)

If you’re looking for an option that allows you to be more hands-free as you arrive to school, I’ve found that a backpack as a teacher bag is the better option for that. However, I also like the accessibility of my stuff from a tote bag. But I always seem to find myself pushing the tote bag back or pulling it up my shoulder as I walk into school. Therefore, as you look at these teacher bags, keep in mind which style you’d like!

Teacher Bag Backpacks

When it comes to a teacher bag as a backpack, this is my number one choice right now – even though it isn’t the “cutest” option. I love that it has an insulated portion in the front for my lunch, so I don’t need to worry about having a lunch bag with me in the mornings!

For my number two choice, (which I may end up buying because I think it’s pretty ha!) is this laptop backpack. I had a similar backpack when I was traveling in Hawaii and I really like it! So when it comes to a teacher bag, this one might win out the race!

Last, but certainly not least, is this backpack that comes in a ton of color options and I really like the cute front pocket that has an asymmetrical flap. I feel like the khaki/beige color is so nice looking too!

Teacher Bag Totes

When it comes to a teacher bag that is a tote, I love this quilted tote that comes in 10 colors and has tons of space in it! I feel like the quilted look just looks so chic.

If you’re looking for a teacher bag that has pockets on the front for your important things, this tote is a great match for that. It isn’t a monstrous size, which I like, but has plenty of space for the essentials!

If a teacher bag with a cute saying is what you’re looking for, I really like this teacher tote that says “Teach them. Love them. Watch them grow.” With some flowers on it too! Plus it comes with a small makeup sized bag and is a cheaper option too!

If you’re needing a teacher bag that has all the bells and whistles aka key ring, outside pocket for pens, over 5 pockets, laptop spot, shoulder strap, then this baby is the one for you. This teacher bag has so much space, I think I would need to get more stuff to fill it!

When choosing a color for my bag, I always try to keep in mind that neutral colors will go with any outfit, any season! If you’re looking for some ideas for teacher outfits, check out my posts for fall, winter, and spring outfits!
