When it comes to teaching, teacher planners are a lifeline for organizing lessons, meetings, different schedules, everything. And if you have a GOOD teacher planner, it can help make the job so much easier. Over the past 10 years, I have gone through a lot of different planners and these are my top recommended teacher planners!

1. Digital Calendar as Teacher Planner
My first and foremost recommendation is a digital calendar version of a teacher planner. This is what I started using several years back and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to edit, easy to link to, easy to share, easy easy easy. I write more about why I love a digital planner in my digital planner post. I think the hardest part of it is to set it up – but I have you covered (FOR FREE) on my TeachersPayTeachers!
2. Callie Danielle Teacher Planner
When it comes to having a paper planner, I love the size of the Callie Danielle teacher planners! They have monthly spreads AND weekly spreads, plus space to write your goals, monthly focus, and coloring pages for those staff meetings that could have been an email 😉 Plus Callie Danielle is a fellow teacher – and she clearly gets what is needed in a teacher planner!
3. Penny Victoria’s Biz Mom Planner
As a teacher mom that is also running a side hustle (thanks for being here!), I really enjoy Penny Victoria’s Biz Mom planner as a teacher planner too. It especially helps if you have a side hustle. Lots of organization help to keep you on track with everything that we have to manage. When Tiffani reached out about having me try a planner out and write a review, I was so impressed with the quality of the planner that she provided – plus it is so cute too!
Good Qualities in Teacher Planners
If these aren’t resonating with you, that’s okay too! Amazon has lots of options that you can always try out to find a teacher planner that fits your needs.
When I’m looking at a teacher planner, I prefer:
- 8.5 by 11 – full size paper size. It just makes sense so I don’t have to worry about space.
- Monthly and weekly spreads. This way I can plan the unit AND look at the week ahead.
- Pretty. There’s just something about it being cute that makes me more likely to use it!
