Easy Weekly Cleaning Schedule for Working Moms

As a teacher mom, I find that keeping my home clean and organized is difficult – especially with two dogs, a cat, and a toddler! However, this past school year, I’ve made it a personal goal to divide and conquer the cleaning chores for the week. By doing so, I’ve found that I’ve been able to keep my house clean and work full-time. I wanted to share my weekly cleaning schedule with you, so you can get an idea of how I manage the mess. Plus I have a cleaning schedule template for you to get to help keep yourself organized in your cleaning life!

Saturday:

Saturday is the day for the “big” cleaning tasks during my weekly cleaning schedule. Washing all the clothes and cleaning the floors takes time, and with the weekend, this working mom has time! Plus a husband that likes to do the laundry (love him <3).

Sunday:

Sunday on this weekly cleaning schedule for working moms is focused on things to start the work week fresh. Freshly cleaned and made beds make that Monday morning wake up not too bad!

Monday:

I make Monday easy for me personally because, well, it’s Monday lol. I find that my motivation is usually pretty low on Mondays, so easy chore it is!

Tuesday:

For Tuesday on my weekly cleaning schedule, I focus on the fact that our trash runs on Wednesday mornings, so we make sure to empty everything and take the bins out! Then I like to take the time to just wipe everything down, especially now that the week has started.

Wednesday:

For Wednesday, I just focus on the bathroom. Usually scrubbing down the tub, sink, and toilet for a nice shine.

Thursdays and Fridays are open days for me during my weekly cleaning schedule to catch up if I had long days or if there is a specific cleaning task that I want to get done – those monthly cleaning chores to get done!

As promised, don’t forget to grab your free weekly cleaning schedule template. It has all the sections I mentioned above, in a nice checklist style, plus a list of monthly tasks that need should be done too.

But there you have it – my easy weekly cleaning schedule for working moms.
