The last day of the school is a bittersweet time. We’re saying goodbye to students we’ve had all year, we’re excited for summer break, we’re overwhelmed with all the end of the year tasks, just all of the feelings. But having a last day of school outfit is a great way to make the day even more special, for yourself and students!

Creative Last Day of School Outfits for Teachers
I recently saw a post going viral of letting students draw on dresses as a yearbook dress to wear on the last day of school and I just loved the idea, especially for elementary school teachers. For more information on this idea, check out this post from Bored Teachers!
Another creative idea for last day of school outfits for teachers would be to bring in a pair of jeans for students to sign as well. I actually had a student do that just the other day because she wasn’t going to get a yearbook. So she had her pair of jeans and some Sharpies to sign them!
It reminded me a lot of when I finished my student teaching and my Masters degree, I had the students that I had at that time sign the underside of my graduation cap <3
Smart Casual Last Day of School Outfits for Teachers
Depending on where you work, sometimes teachers like to dress-up for the last day of school (or are expected to). However, as a teacher, you always want to be comfortable when dressing for school.

With that in mind, I will always recommend a denim jacket – it’s a teacher spring staple for teacher outfits. I also think that a denim jacket and a bright, fun midi skirt is a great way to make a more flexible last day of school outfit for teachers, especially with a teacher tee!
Teacher Tees as Last Day of School Outfits for Teachers
One of my favorite stores for teacher tees is Teacher Care Crate – which is a monthly self-care crate designed for teachers specifically. You get to also add on a teacher tee, or buy one separately if you see one that you love!
A nice basic “Happy Last Day of School” tee shirt is a great teacher tee to have for a last day of school outfit for teachers. Teacher Care Crate also has a really cute, pink and checkered shirt that also says “Last Day of School” if you want something a little more ~fancy~.
These next teacher tees are ones that I feel that middle school teachers would just thrive on: a “No Cap, I’m Gonna Low Key Miss You Bruh” teacher tee or a “Admit It, You’re Gonna Low Key Miss Me” teacher tee.
I also really love this “School’s Out For Summer” teacher tee shirt that is a different way for celebrating the last day of school.
For the teachers who know and remember Boy Meets World, I saw this adorable shirt that says “I love you all. Class dismissed.” for a great Mr. Feeny throwback to enjoy.
Again, with a teacher tee, you can wear a midi skirt, like mentioned above. Or you can keep it casual with jeans or black jeans, whichever you’re feeling!
